Tropicana became the seventh casino to offer on-site sports betting Thursday morning. The sports book, run by William Hill US, is a temporary location until a 5,000-square-foot permanent structure is complete, said Steve Callender, general manager of Tropicana Atlantic City.
Callender said there is no timeline for when the permanent book will open. “I think (sports betting) is great for Atlantic City because it brings new people to town,” said Callender.
