The 10th annual Taste of the Quarter held at the Tropicana raised more than $25,000 Monday benefiting the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, or UWGPSNJ, in Atlantic County. More than 800 participants who bought a $30 ticket to the event sampled food and drinks from more than 25 Tropicana dining destinations. “Ten years we have partnered with United Way and each year it gets bigger and better,” said General Manager for Tropicana Atlantic City Steve Callender. “This year we had over 25 participating locations, 800 attendees, and raised over $25,000 for United Way. Thank you to all of our participating organizers, volunteers and supporters who make Tropicana’s Taste of the Quarter fun and successful for all.”
