Tropicana Atlantic City will debut the renovated Chelsea Tower in time for Memorial Day weekend, including the soon-to-be completed Skybridge, new dining and bar options and a rooftop pool.
“The Chelsea Tower is a welcome addition to Tropicana Atlantic City,” said Tony Rodio, Tropicana president and CEO. “We were able to take a closed property on the Boardwalk, reinvigorate it, and incorporate it as part of the resort options at Tropicana Atlantic City.”
The new non-gaming amenities include: the Skybridge, an enclosed pedestrian walkway that connects the resort to The Chelsea Tower; Cabana Five Bar & Pool Deck, a rooftop pool with a full-service bar, poolside dining and cabana rentals; Oasis Pool, located on the ground level adorned with greenery and patio furniture; Whiskey Five, a themed-bar featuring old fashioned cocktails and billiards; Chelsea Five Gastropub, a new restaurant in The Chelsea Tower offering seafood, steak and pasta options with panoramic ocean views and an adjacent outdoor terrace lounge; and, the Gilchrist Restaurant, the fourth location since 1946 for the Atlantic City staple.
