The openings of the Hard Rock and Ocean Resort casinos in Atlantic City have generated quite a bit of attention for the Jersey Shore resort town. A neighboring hotel that experienced a re-birth two years ago doesn’t want to be left out, however, as the Showboat announced Thursday that it is set to unveil new eateries and attractions as well as make available an additional 479 rooms.
The Showboat offered 852 rooms and suites when its doors re-opened in July 2016. All 1,331 are expected to be set to go by the time the Ocean Resort Casino and the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino welcome guests on June 28.
