NFL Inks First Casino Sponsorship with Caesers Hinting To Shifting Stance On Sports Betting

The NFL and Caesars Entertainment Corporation have partnered up, giving the National Football League its first official casino sponsor in a deal that will roll out just in time for the 2019 Playoffs.

While the press release was careful to state that the partnership only relates to their casinos, and excludes sports betting, DFS and hotel promotions, it does signal that the league’s decision-makers are cozying up to the idea of sports betting, or better yet, the revenue that it could provide to the league as a whole.
