For the eighth month in a row, casino gaming revenue in New Jersey increased. According to the state’s Division of Gaming Enforcement, the nine Atlantic City Casinos generated $229.6 million in revenue in January. The DGE figures show that January numbers are up 24.6 percent year over year when the state took in $184.3 million.

In 2018, however, there were only seven casinos in the state and sports betting was not yet legal.
