Tropicana Atlantic City got a little help from its friends, like former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Ron Jaworski, in opening its permanent sportsbook. Officials of Tropicana, owner Eldorado Resorts Inc. and sportsbook operator William Hill US on Friday afternoon cut the ribbon for the 2,400-room casino’s permanent sportsbook, located on the North Tower casino floor.
The 5,000-square-foot sportsbook has 200 linear feet and 1,654 square feet of video display that can show up to 16 games at once. It also has eight betting windows, 180 seats, and bar, lounge and elevated VIP seating.
