Hard Rock in AC just hired 3,000 people, and isn’t stopping yet

The new Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City hired its 3,000th worker on Wednesday, less than two months away from its grand opening. There are 500 additional positions still available at the entertainment resort, set to open June 28 on the site of the former Taj Mahal.

“In preparation of the highly-anticipated opening of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City this summer, the property has received more than 20,000 applications for like-minded ‘rock stars’ who are interested in a career in the gaming and hospitality industry,” a spokesperson for the Hard Rock said.

Atlantic City native Leonard Coleman, 54, was the announced as the 3,000th employee, and will begin as a Craps Dealer. “Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City will hire upwards of 3,500 permanent employees and the final push is on to hire the best of the best candidates for the 500 open positions still available,” a spokesperson said.
