Atlantic City Casinos Come Together to Support Breast Cancer Awareness

Atlantic City, NJ This October, the Atlantic City casino industry will reaffirm its commitment to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Throughout the month, the casino industry will help raise awareness, support research, and promote early detection through various events and initiatives.

“Breast cancer impacts families in every community, but thanks to advances in detection, treatment, survival rates continue to rise. Each October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Atlantic City casinos stand united with our employees, guests, and the greater community to raise awareness and shine a light on this important cause,” said Mark Giannantonio, president, Casino Association of New Jersey (CANJ). “Atlantic City casinos remain committed to supporting groundbreaking research, promoting early detection, and ensuring care for all those impacted by this disease.”

According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), breast cancer remains one of the most common cancers in the United States. Continued advancements in medical research and the growing emphasis on early screenings are helping to improve outcomes. When detected early, survival rates are significantly higher, highlighting the importance of awareness efforts like those taking place this October.

Together, the industry is committed to shining a light on breast cancer awareness, encouraging preventive action, and standing alongside survivors, patients, and families in the fight against this disease. All month long, Atlantic City casinos will demonstrate their support through meaningful events and initiatives, including:
