Atlantic City Casinos and the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement Host Citywide Job Fair

The Casino Association of New Jersey (CANJ), in partnership with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE), hosted a citywide job fair earlier today at the Atlantic City Convention Center.

“Atlantic City casinos are the backbone of South Jersey’s economy supporting over 20,000 employees across our nine properties,” said Joe Lupo, President of the Casino Association of New Jersey. “The Casino Association of New Jersey is proud to partner with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to host this job fair to showcase some of the exciting opportunities that are available at our casino properties. As we rebuild and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, we look forward to welcoming new team members who will help us continue delivering the world-class service our customers have come to expect, while supporting the local and regional economy.”

At the job fair, human resources representatives from each casino property were available to speak with interested candidates, providing attendees the opportunity to apply, interview and be hired on site. Available positions include Table Games Dealers, Food and Beverage Servers, Security Officers, Hotel Housekeeping, Culinary jobs and others.

“The CANJ Job Fair represents the latest example of the Murphy Administration’s enhanced engagement with the casino industry to bring back casino jobs to Atlantic City,” said Dave Rebuck, Director of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. “The Division of Gaming Enforcement will continue to work with the Atlantic City casinos, with the support of other stakeholders in state government, in assisting the casino industry to rebuild and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic by bringing back casino jobs, including over 2,000 active employment positions currently available at the nine properties.”
