Atlantic City casinos saw positive growth in revenue last month when compared to this time last year. New figures released on Friday, October 13th, by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement show that all seven casinos and online gambling outlets in the city racked up more than $235 million in the month of September 2017, which is a 4.1 percent increase when compared to September 2016. When the now-closed Taj Mahal is excluded, Atlantic City’s casino revenue was up 7.9 percent from a year ago. Internet gambling in the city was up 25.6 percent. Five of the seven currently operating casinos showed increases in September, led by the Golden Nugget.
