Atlantic City’s casinos saw their second-quarter earnings increase by 1.6 percent compared with the same period in 2017. Figures released Wednesday by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement show the casinos reported a gross operating profit of $171.4 million in the second quarter. Regulators had initially reported that profits were down, but later corrected themselves.
