Atlantic City, battered in the pandemic, is ready for renaissance

Memorial Day is considered the unofficial start of summer. This year, I believe that Memorial Day 2021 should be looked at as the unofficial start for Atlantic City to recover from the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic.

I have worked in Atlantic City for over three decades. During that time, I have witnessed the ups and downs of this great city. I have also seen this city’s resiliency firsthand. Atlantic City has a unique ability to turn things around: from economic downturns to economic revitalizations; from competition to consolidation; from government shutdowns to driving tourism. I am a firm believer that this city can come back from any obstacle and rebuild better and stronger than before. Our recovery from the COVID-19 crisis will be no different.
