After a very muted Super Bowl-themed day in 2021 at Atlantic City’s casinos and racetracks, options are more plentiful for Sunday’s game between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals.

“We are excited to welcome football fans to Atlantic City this weekend to enjoy one of the biggest sporting events of the year,” Joe Lupo, president of the Casino Association of New Jersey, said in a statement. “Our industry is diligently working to rebuild and recover from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

“This year’s game is a perfect opportunity for guests to come back to Atlantic City, wager responsibly and enjoy all the world-class amenities and attractions our casinos have to offer. We are optimistic the Big Game will mark a strong start for Atlantic City in 2022.”

An unseasonably warm week in Atlantic City winds down on Sunday to a forecast with a high of 45 degrees and a low of 29. So all-day revelers might be able to spend part of the pre-game outdoors to lower their potential COVID-19-infection risk.
